چکیده
Background: Infection with hepatitis B, C, and delta viruses (HBV/HCV/HDV) caused by mother-to-child transmission (MTCT) is still a serious health problem worldwide. Coinfection HBV/HDV or HCV has been shown to accelerate the progression of chronic HBV infection, resulting in higher mortality. Objectives: The aim this study was evaluate prevalence anti-HCV, anti-HDV, anti-HIV antibodies mothers infection their infants. Methods: This cross-sectional performed on 100 (hepatitis B surface antigen-positive [HBsAg+]/hepatitis core antibody-positive [HBcAb+]) infants between 2020 2021 northeastern Iran. presence serological markers HBV, HIV antibodies, as well liver function tests, were evaluated all mothers. obtained data analyzed using SPSS version 20, level statistical significance set at P-value < 0.05. Results: mean age individuals 37.45 ± 17.95 years. In infants, 3, 11, 15% serologically positive for HCV/HDV, respectively. Also, participants negative anti-HIV. A analysis showed significant correlation anti-HDV (95% CI, 0.113 - 0.332) education, place residence, anti-HCV 0.313 0.416) HBV. percentages simultaneous reported be 1, 2, 1% when anti-HCV/HDV measured, Conclusions: Intellectual strategies diagnosis HCV, HIV, HDV patients have challenged public global health, preventing viral infections newly born most effective way control HBV/HCV epidemic.
